<p>Our client is seeking a <strong>Property Accountant</strong> to join their team onsite in Vancouver, Washington. This role will be responsible for the full-cycle accounting of <strong>26 properties</strong>, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and compliance with company standards. The ideal candidate will have <strong>hands-on experience with AppFolio</strong> and a strong understanding of property management accounting.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Manage full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of 26 properties</li><li>Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and monthly reconciliations</li><li>Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions</li><li>Review and maintain tenant ledgers, rent rolls, and lease data</li><li>Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for property owners</li><li>Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes</li><li>Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies</li><li>Collaborate with property managers and leadership to resolve accounting discrepancies</li></ul><p><br></p>

<p>3+ years of property accounting experience, preferably within residential or commercial real estate</p><p><strong>AppFolio experience required</strong></p><p>Strong understanding of accrual accounting and financial reporting</p><p>Proficiency with Excel and general ledger systems</p><p>Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills</p><p>Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment</p>
