This contract-to-hire opportunity is perfect for someone with a solid foundation in general accounting who thrives in a mix of office and remote work.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Complete <strong>month-end close</strong> processes, including preparation and review of journal entries.</li><li>Perform <strong>general ledger reconciliation</strong> to ensure alignment and accuracy.</li><li>Prepare, review, and process <strong>journal entries</strong> with proper supporting documentation.</li><li>Perform <strong>account reconciliations</strong> for bank statements and other general ledger accounts.</li><li>Assist with the preparation of financial reports and variance analyses.</li><li>Support audits (internal and external) by providing requested documentation and explanations.</li><li>Collaborate with the accounting team on <strong>process improvements</strong> to increase efficiency and accuracy.</li><li>Handle additional general accounting tasks and special projects as needed.</li></ul><p><br></p>
