Grant Accountant
<p>We are looking for a skilled Grant Accountant to join our clients team in Hillsboro, Oregon, on a long-term contract basis. This role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and a strong background in grant management and accounting practices, particularly in federal and government grants. The position involves working collaboratively across departments to ensure compliance and accurate reporting.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Prepare and submit detailed reports for federal and government grants, ensuring accuracy and compliance.</p><p>• Collaborate with various departments to provide guidance on grant requirements and ensure proper supporting documentation is maintained.</p><p>• Review and process journal entries to ensure accurate tracking and application of grant-related transactions.</p><p>• Develop and apply complex Excel formulas to streamline grant reporting and analysis.</p><p>• Ensure compliance with all federal and government grant regulations, providing expertise in grant accounting practices.</p><p>• Support audits and reviews by preparing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries related to grants.</p>
<p>• Proven experience in grant management and accounting, particularly with federal and government grants.</p><p>• Proficiency in utilizing Excel formulas for financial reporting and analysis.</p><p>• Familiarity with accounting software and systems</p><p>• Ability to collaborate effectively across departments to ensure compliance and accuracy in documentation.</p><p>• Solid understanding of journal entries and general ledger processes.</p><p>• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.</p><p>• Knowledge of grant regulations and reporting standards.</p>
