Staff Accountant
<p>We are looking for an experienced Staff Accountant to join our team on a Contract-to-Permanent basis in Vancouver, Washington. This role involves working across multiple corporate entities, primarily focusing on accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, and other essential accounting tasks. The position offers an opportunity to grow into higher-level responsibilities over time, making it ideal for a detail-oriented individual seeking career advancement.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes across multiple corporate entities.</p><p>• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure financial records are accurate and up to date.</p><p>• Handle intercompany invoicing and transactions effectively.</p><p>• Process payroll using Gusto and assist with payroll-related tasks as needed.</p><p>• Oversee credit card management, including processing and reconciling transactions for multiple cards.</p><p>• Maintain accurate cash handling procedures and ensure compliance with company policies.</p><p>• Utilize QuickBooks Online to manage financial data and reporting.</p><p>• Assist with lower-level accounting tasks, with potential to transition into higher-level responsibilities.</p><p>• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth financial operations across corporate entities.</p><p>• Support real estate-related financial activities, leveraging relevant experience if applicable.</p>
• Proven experience in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions.<br>• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online and familiarity with Gusto for payroll.<br>• Ability to perform bank reconciliations and manage intercompany accounting.<br>• Experience with credit card management and transaction processing.<br>• Solid understanding of cash handling and financial compliance practices.<br>• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.<br>• Background in real estate accounting is a plus but not mandatory.<br>• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
