Payroll Specialist
<p>We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team in St. Louis Park, Minnesota. In this role, you will oversee timekeeping processes, resolve timesheet discrepancies, and ensure accurate payroll administration. This is a long-term contract position within the construction industry, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of payroll systems.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Review and process employee timesheets to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.</p><p>• Identify and correct errors or discrepancies in timekeeping records within the designated payroll software.</p><p>• Conduct regular audits of payroll data to verify accuracy and compliance with organizational standards.</p><p>• Collaborate with HR, management, and employees to resolve timekeeping issues and gather necessary information.</p><p>• Ensure compliance with payroll policies, procedures, and relevant labor regulations.</p><p>• Communicate updates or issues related to payroll and timekeeping to relevant stakeholders.</p><p>• Contribute to maintaining secure and confidential handling of payroll data.</p><p>• Assist with the integration and optimization of payroll software systems as needed.</p><p>• Support the team in improving payroll processes and maintaining high-quality service standards.</p>
• Proficiency in accounting or payroll software systems such as UKG Pro, Kronos, or similar platforms.<br>• Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy in timekeeping and payroll processes.<br>• Strong mathematical skills for calculating hours and resolving discrepancies.<br>• Proven problem-solving abilities to address and correct payroll-related issues.<br>• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and addressing inquiries.<br>• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion.<br>• Familiarity with auditing and compliance standards in payroll processes.<br>• Previous experience in payroll, accounting, or timekeeping systems is preferred but not mandatory.
