In this role, you will oversee complex accounting functions, including consolidation, reporting, and budgeting activities, while identifying opportunities to enhance processes through automation. The successful candidate for this role will have sharp analytical and technical accounting skills, excellent time management abilities, and strong written and verbal communication skills. Responsibilities:• Consolidate financial data for internal and external reports, including monthly, quarterly, and year-end disclosures.• Perform intercompany reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting across subsidiaries.• Analyze and review financial submissions from subsidiaries, providing assistance and guidance on accounting matters.• Lead the implementation of automated processes to streamline existing accounting workflows.• Conduct technical research and analysis to support compliance with accounting standards and regulations.• Play a key role in the annual budgeting process, including preparing and reviewing budget forecasts.• Perform detailed budget-to-actual analyses to identify variances and provide actionable insights.• Manage lease accounting activities in accordance with applicable standards.• Prepare journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts to maintain accurate financial records.• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and addressing auditor inquiries.

The ideal Senior Accountant MUST have a Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting.CPA preferred. Other requirements for the Senior Accountant role include and are not limited to:<ul><li>3+ years of large/medium Public and/or Corporate accounting background</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office, Advanced Excel</li><li>ERP system experience</li><li>Knowledge of finance, accounting, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)</li><li>Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.</li><li>Strong problem solving.</li></ul>
