We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant with expertise in ERP systems to join our team in Rochester, New York. This is a long-term contract position offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to financial operations and process improvements. The role will require collaboration with various departments and key stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and efficient accounting practices. Responsibilities: • Oversee month-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. • Manage general ledger activities, including account reconciliations and journal entries. • Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies effectively. • Support the transition and integration of accounting systems, collaborating with teams to align processes. • Review and improve invoicing procedures to enhance accuracy and efficiency. • Assist in implementing sales tax changes and compliance for municipal government clients. • Collaborate on system migrations and CRM consolidation efforts to streamline operations. • Work closely with the parent company’s finance team to align reporting and practices. • Provide guidance on accounting processes during platform transitions. • Address service-specific nuances and ensure proper handling in accounting systems.

• Proven experience in month-end close procedures and general ledger management. • Proficiency in performing detailed account and bank reconciliations. • Strong knowledge of journal entries and financial reporting. • Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly QuickBooks and Microsoft Dynamics 365. • Ability to adapt to system migrations and process improvements. • Understanding of sales tax regulations and compliance requirements. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong communication skills to collaborate across teams and stakeholders.
