We are looking for a motivated Entry-Level Accountant to join our team in Paramus, New Jersey. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to grow their accounting career in the Import/Export industry. As part of a long-term contract position, you'll gain valuable experience while working on-site three days a week. Responsibilities:• Process accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.• Perform bank reconciliations to verify account balances and resolve discrepancies.• Reconcile general ledger accounts to maintain accurate financial records.• Manage accounts receivable tasks, including invoicing and payment tracking.• Record and maintain accounting entries in compliance with company policies.• Utilize Excel for financial data analysis and reporting.• Learn and adapt to NetSuite accounting software with provided training.• Assist in preparing financial reports and documentation for audits.• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth accounting operations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred.• Familiarity with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.• Basic knowledge of bank and account reconciliations.• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data organization and analysis.• Willingness to learn and use NetSuite software.• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.• Ability to work on-site in Paramus, New Jersey three days a week.
