We are looking for an Entry-Level Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Whippany, New Jersey. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a strong foundation in accounting principles and analytical skills. The position offers a structured work environment and opportunities to gain hands-on experience in financial analysis and reporting. Responsibilities: • Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial standards. • Conduct detailed analysis of fleet schedules and validate financial data. • Prepare and run various reports to support decision-making processes. • Utilize Microsoft Excel for advanced functions, including V-Lookups and Pivot Tables. • Assist in the preparation and review of accounting entries and financial statements. • Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and improve reporting processes. • Support the validation and tracking of financial data across systems. • Ensure adherence to deadlines and maintain the integrity of all financial records.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience with V-Lookups and Pivot Tables. • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. • Familiarity with accounting software systems. • Ability to perform account analysis and reconciliations. • Solid understanding of accounting functions and principles. • Effective communication and collaboration skills. • Capability to manage tasks within deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
