Human Resources (HR) Assistant
We are looking for a dedicated Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Portola Valley, California. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting HR operations and ensuring smooth onboarding processes. You will play a key part in maintaining HR systems and fostering positive employee relations.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Coordinate onboarding processes to ensure new employees have a seamless introduction to the organization.<br>• Maintain and update Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) with accurate employee data.<br>• Conduct background checks and verify candidate credentials as part of the hiring process.<br>• Support employee relations initiatives by addressing inquiries and resolving minor workplace concerns.<br>• Assist in the administration of HR policies, procedures, and documentation.<br>• Provide administrative support for HR functions, including record-keeping and compliance tracking.<br>• Collaborate with team members to enhance HR workflows and improve operational efficiency.<br>• Help organize employee engagement activities and training sessions.<br>• Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive employee information.
• Proven experience in HR administration or related roles.<br>• Familiarity with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and data management.<br>• Strong understanding of onboarding practices and candidate evaluation procedures.<br>• Excellent interpersonal skills to support employee relations.<br>• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.<br>• Proficient in organizational and time management skills.<br>• Knowledge of HR policies and procedures.<br>• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and meeting deadlines.
