We are looking for a dedicated Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Los Angeles, California. In this role, you will be responsible for managing vendor invoices, ensuring accurate payments, and maintaining organized financial records. Responsibilities: • Process and verify incoming invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies. • Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices to validate payment details. • Prepare and execute payments, including checks, ACH transfers, and wire transfers. • Maintain and update vendor records within the accounting system to ensure accuracy. • Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. • Respond to inquiries from vendors and internal teams regarding payment and invoice status. • Assist with month-end closing tasks, such as preparing accounts payable accruals and reconciliations. • Collaborate with procurement and other departments to address and resolve payment issues. • Ensure adherence to company accounting procedures and regulatory compliance. • Support the finance team in maintaining accurate and organized financial operations.

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience. • Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounts payable or general accounting required. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks, Oracle, or similar platforms. • Strong attention to detail with an ability to maintain accuracy in financial records. • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with vendors and internal teams. • Problem-solving abilities to address and resolve discrepancies efficiently. • Capability to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment. • Familiarity with accounts payable processes, including coding invoices and check runs.
