We are looking for a detail-oriented part-time Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Venice, California. This is a long-term contract role that requires in-office presence once a week on Wednesdays from 10am-5pm. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of accounts payable processes and demonstrate excellent organizational and communication skills. Responsibilities:• Accurately review and process vendor invoices to ensure timely payments in QuickBooks.• Verify and match expense reports with corresponding receipts on a weekly basis.• Reconcile vendor statements to resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate records.• Facilitate vendor onboarding, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.• Respond promptly to vendor inquiries regarding payments, corrections, and payment methods.• Handle general accounts payable and accounting tasks as needed to support the department.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field. • Proficiency in coding invoices and account coding processes. • Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions. • Experience conducting check runs and managing payment schedules. • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in financial records. • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with vendors and team members.
