We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic team in Los Alamitos, California. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in finance or accounting who excels in fast-paced environments. As part of our logistics industry operations, you will manage critical accounts payable functions and contribute to the efficient flow of financial processes. Responsibilities: • Process and post invoices accurately and in a timely manner. • Maintain organized payment schedules and ensure compliance with company policies. • Manage vendor relationships, including resolving discrepancies and addressing inquiries. • Assist with month-end closing activities to ensure accurate financial reporting. • Record journal entries and reconcile accounts to maintain financial accuracy. • Handle intercompany transactions and ensure proper documentation. • Perform check runs and verify coding of invoices to ensure proper allocation. • Utilize accounting software such as Great Plains, QuickBooks, and Oracle to perform daily tasks. • Collaborate with the team to streamline processes and enhance efficiency. • Ensure adherence to accounting standards and company procedures.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred but not mandatory. • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable roles. • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. • Proficiency in software such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and Great Plains. • Experience with intercompany transactions and reconciliations is advantageous. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Effective communication skills for vendor and team interactions.
