We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Seal Beach, California. In this role, you will oversee the accurate processing of invoices, payments, and other financial transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering a great opportunity for growth in the dynamic real estate and property sector. Responsibilities: • Process vendor invoices with accuracy and efficiency using JD Edwards software. • Verify invoice details, including pricing and quantities, to ensure proper documentation and compliance. • Enter invoices into the system, ensuring correct allocation to accounts and cost centers. • Reconcile vendor statements and address discrepancies promptly. • Prepare and execute payments, including checks and wire transfers, in line with company policies. • Maintain detailed records of accounts payable transactions for audit and reporting purposes. • Assist with month-end closing activities such as accruals and reconciliations. • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve payment-related concerns. • Monitor lien release documentation and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. • Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices relevant to accounts payable processes.

• Minimum of 2 years of accounts payable experience, preferably in construction or a related industry. • Proficiency in JD Edwards software is required. • Familiarity with lien release processes is strongly preferred. • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions. • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with vendors and internal teams. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
