Our client in the construction / manufacturing industry is looking for a contract-to-hire Payroll Specialist with Sage software experience. In this position, you will oversee payroll processes for a company with over 200 employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all applicable regulations. This role requires expertise in full-cycle payroll management and proficiency with Sage Accounting Software. Responsibilities:• Manage full-cycle payroll operations, including weekly and bi-weekly payroll processing for both corporate and field employees.• Utilize Sage Accounting Software to accurately process payroll transactions and maintain records.• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.• Handle payroll for hourly labor employees and address any discrepancies or issues promptly.• Collaborate with HR and accounting teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll data.• Maintain confidentiality and security of payroll information.• Generate payroll reports and analyze data to support business operations.• Address employee payroll inquiries and provide timely resolution.• Assist in auditing payroll processes to identify and resolve errors.• Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure continued compliance.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in full-cycle payroll management. • Proficiency in Sage Accounting Software. • Experience processing payroll for businesses with 100-500 employees. • Ability to manage weekly, bi-weekly, and bi-monthly payroll cycles. • Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance standards. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. • Strong communication skills for interacting with employees and internal teams.
