Our client is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist in Houston, TX. In this role, you will manage the full cycle of accounts payable processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in both manual and automated workflows. Responsibilities:• Process, review, and verify invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies.• Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including coding invoices, matching purchase orders, and reconciling discrepancies.• Perform regular check runs and ensure timely payments to vendors.• Utilize SAP software to maintain accurate records and streamline workflows.• Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve invoice-related issues.• Facilitate manual and automated accounts payable processes, ensuring smooth operations.• Generate reports and maintain records using intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.• Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to automation initiatives.• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company standards.• Communicate effectively with vendors and stakeholders to resolve payment inquiries.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field.• Proficiency in managing full-cycle accounts payable processes.• Hands-on experience with SAP• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas and reporting.• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under deadlines.• Familiarity with both manual and automated accounts payable systems.• Excellent communication and organizational skills.• A degree in accounting or finance is preferred but not required
