Receptionist
<p>We are looking for a highly organized and personable Receptionist to join our team on a potential contract-to-hire basis in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. This role is ideal for someone who excels at managing front desk operations and ensuring smooth communication within the office. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment for visitors and maintaining administrative efficiency. Hours are 8am - 5pm. We are looking for candidates with 1-2 years of experience. </p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Welcome visitors and ensure a positive first impression by managing the front desk professionally.</p><p>• Handle incoming calls using a multi-line phone system and route them appropriately.</p><p>• Sort, organize, and distribute incoming mail and packages.</p><p>• Schedule and coordinate appointments, ensuring seamless communication.</p><p>• Maintain accurate records through data entry and file organization.</p><p>• Respond to email correspondence promptly and professionally.</p><p>• Assist with basic administrative tasks using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.</p><p>• Provide exceptional customer service to staff, clients, and visitors.</p><p>• Ensure the reception area remains tidy and organized.</p><p>• Support additional office tasks as needed during the maternity leave coverage.</p><p>• Manage vendors and communication. </p>
• Proficiency in managing multi-line phone systems.<br>• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and meticulous demeanor.<br>• Demonstrated ability in data entry and organizing files.<br>• Experience with scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars.<br>• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.<br>• Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication.<br>• Ability to handle email correspondence efficiently and accurately.<br>• Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
