We are looking for an experienced Payroll Manager to oversee and manage payroll operations for a large, multi-state workforce. This is a long-term contract position offering an opportunity to contribute your expertise in payroll processes and compliance. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and timely payroll processing while adhering to company policies and relevant regulations. Responsibilities:• Handle end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.• Manage payroll for a workforce exceeding 500 employees across multiple states.• Process and review payroll transactions to ensure timely and accurate payments.• Prepare and post payroll journal entries in accordance with accounting standards.• Maintain and troubleshoot payroll systems, including ADP Workforce Now.• Address and resolve payroll-related issues and discrepancies effectively.• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.• Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to streamline payroll processes.• Generate detailed payroll reports and provide insights to management.• Implement best practices to optimize payroll procedures and systems.

• Proven experience in full-cycle payroll management. • Expertise in handling multi-state payroll for large organizations. • Familiarity with payroll systems, particularly ADP Workforce Now. • Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements. • Ability to manage payroll for over 500 employees. • Proficiency in processing payroll journal entries. • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. • Effective communication skills for collaboration across departments.
