This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to financial operations and ensure the accuracy of accounting records. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing month-end close processes, maintaining general ledgers, and performing account reconciliations. Responsibilities: • Oversee and execute month-end close procedures to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. • Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring all entries are precise and compliant with accounting standards. • Prepare and post journal entries while verifying supporting documentation. • Perform detailed account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies. • Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between internal records and bank statements. • Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial data and documentation. • Monitor financial transactions and ensure compliance with established policies. • Analyze financial records and provide insights to support decision-making processes. • Assist with audits by preparing accurate records and documentation. • Implement and maintain accounting controls to safeguard financial integrity.

• Proven experience in accounting roles, particularly with month-end close processes. • Proficiency in managing general ledger operations and journal entries. • Strong knowledge of account reconciliation and bank reconciliation procedures. • Familiarity with accounting principles and regulatory compliance standards. • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team environment. • Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
