We are looking for a skilled Controller with expertise in the manufacturing industry to join our team in Nevada, Iowa. This position is a long-term contract role, offering an exciting opportunity to oversee and manage critical accounting functions and financial operations. The ideal candidate will excel in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and supporting the organization with valuable financial insights.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.<br>• Lead the monthly close process, including preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.<br>• Supervise accounts payable functions, including invoice processing, workflow approvals, and vendor communications.<br>• Ensure accurate and timely vendor payments while fostering and maintaining strong supplier relationships.<br>• Monitor and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate cost allocations and financial reporting.<br>• Provide financial support for manufacturing activities, such as inventory management, cost accounting, and production analysis.<br>• Deliver actionable financial recommendations and insights to leadership to guide decision-making.<br>• Drive improvements in internal controls, processes, and documentation to enhance operational efficiency.<br>• Collaborate with multiple departments, including operations and procurement, to ensure financial transparency and alignment with organizational goals.

• Proven experience in a Controller role within the manufacturing industry.<br>• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance standards.<br>• Proficiency with general ledger systems and financial software.<br>• Expertise in accounts payable management and vendor relations.<br>• Solid background in cost accounting and inventory management.<br>• Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.<br>• Ability to provide strategic financial insights and recommendations.<br>• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work across departments.
