Receptionist
We are looking for an organized and personable Receptionist to join our team in Bronx, New York. This is a long-term contract opportunity within the non-profit sector, offering a chance to make a meaningful impact while utilizing your administrative and communication skills. The ideal candidate will excel in managing front office tasks, maintaining attention to detail, and delivering excellent customer service.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Greet visitors and provide them with a warm and attentive welcome.<br>• Answer and direct calls on a multi-line phone system efficiently.<br>• Maintain accurate records through data entry and file organization.<br>• Manage email correspondence and respond promptly to inquiries.<br>• Schedule appointments and ensure calendars are kept up-to-date.<br>• Collaborate with team members to support daily office operations.<br>• Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook to prepare documents and manage communications.<br>• Uphold a high standard of customer service when interacting with clients and staff.<br>• Assist in coordinating office activities and ensuring smooth operations.<br>• Handle incoming and outgoing mail as needed.
• Proven experience handling multi-line phone systems.<br>• Strong customer service skills with a focus on professionalism.<br>• Proficiency in data entry and managing electronic and physical files.<br>• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.<br>• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively.<br>• Experience scheduling appointments and managing calendars.<br>• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.<br>• Ability to work independently while supporting team objectives.
