We are looking for an experienced Revenue Accountant to support our client on a 3–4-month consulting engagement. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate revenue recognition for long-term development contracts while maintaining compliance with accounting standards. This position offers an opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to process enhancements within a dynamic environment. This position is hybrid requiring three days onsite. Responsibilities:• Prepare detailed monthly revenue analysis for long-term contracts, ensuring alignment with revenue recognition policies and accounting standards.• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to collect updates on customer programs, facilitating accurate revenue recognition and alignment with expenditure plans.• Support accounting processes for inventory and work-in-progress by consolidating information from diverse sources in a manual reporting environment.• Identify opportunities for improving deferred revenue processes and reporting systems.• Analyze customer contracts to interpret performance obligations and compile relevant details for auditors and internal teams.• Manage manual reporting tasks, including pulling data from Tableau, handling complex Excel workbooks, and retrieving queries from available systems.• Ensure proper accounting treatment and reporting for contract assets and liabilities based on a thorough understanding of their nature and implication If you are interested in this opportunity, please reach out to Robert Half Management Resources.
