Sr. Accountant
<p>We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Worcester, Massachusetts. This role involves managing complex financial processes across multiple entities. The ideal candidate will excel in performing reconciliations and have a strong grasp of accounting principles.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Conduct thorough account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.</p><p>• Manage month-end close processes for multiple entities.</p><p>• Prepare and post journal entries, maintaining detailed and accurate records.</p><p>• Oversee general ledger activities, ensuring proper classification and documentation.</p><p>• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies efficiently.</p><p>• Utilize accounting software to streamline financial processes.</p><p>• Analyze and interpret financial data to assist in decision-making and reporting.</p><p>• Collaborate with internal teams to maintain consistent and accurate financial records.</p><p>• Ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements.</p><p>• Provide support for year-end close activities, ensuring timely completion.</p>
<p>• Extensive experience in month-end close processes and financial reconciliations.</p><p>• Proficiency in managing general ledger activities and preparing journal entries.</p><p>• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including debits and credits.</p><p>•• Ability to handle complex account reconciliations with accuracy.</p><p>• Exceptional analytical skills to interpret financial data and resolve issues.</p><p>• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.</p><p>• Effective communication skills to collaborate with teams and present findings.</p>
