Medical Receptionist
We are looking for a knowledgeable and friendly Medical Receptionist to join our team in White Plains, New York. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth daily operations within a medical front office environment. Your responsibilities will focus on patient interaction, scheduling, and administrative support, contributing to a positive experience for all visitors.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Greet patients warmly upon arrival and ensure a smooth check-in process.<br>• Manage patient scheduling efficiently to optimize appointment availability.<br>• Coordinate front office tasks, including answering phone calls and addressing inquiries.<br>• Maintain accurate records and update patient information in the system.<br>• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals to relay necessary information.<br>• Assist with verifying insurance details and processing required documentation.<br>• Monitor and organize office supplies to maintain a functional workspace.<br>• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and office protocols.<br>• Provide excellent customer service to address patient concerns and questions.
• Previous experience in a medical front office or similar healthcare setting.<br>• Proficiency in patient scheduling and familiarity with scheduling software.<br>• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.<br>• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.<br>• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.<br>• Basic knowledge of insurance verification processes.<br>• Familiarity with medical terminology is preferred.<br>• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
