We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our healthcare organization in Central New Jersey. This role involves managing and overseeing accounting operations across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial reporting. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in general ledger management, payroll consolidation, and audit coordination. Responsibilities:• Provide strategic support to the Assistant Controller and Corporate Controller in managing financial activities across various entities.• Oversee and reconcile the General Ledger, including maintaining the chart of accounts, preparing journal entries, and ensuring proper documentation.• Review and verify the accuracy of staff-prepared account reconciliations.• Assist in consolidating payroll-related accounting tasks and ensure timely reporting.• Play a key role in preparing the annual budget by gathering and analyzing financial data.• Collaborate with external auditors and internal teams to coordinate annual audit processes.• Supervise Accounts Payable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices.• Monitor daily cash flow and assist in managing banking-related activities.• Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses and perform other assigned duties as needed.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on month-end close processes. • Proficiency in managing General Ledger operations and preparing journal entries. • Strong skills in account and bank reconciliations. • Experience in consolidating payroll-related accounting activities. • Familiarity with audit preparation and coordination with external auditors. • Proven ability to handle budget preparation and financial planning tasks. • Excellent organizational and supervisory skills for overseeing Accounts Payable. • Knowledge of cash management and banking procedures.
