We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in Lakewood, New Jersey. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in managing complex accounting tasks and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. This position is ideal for professionals with strong technical expertise and a commitment to maintaining high standards of financial integrity. Responsibilities:• Perform account reconciliations to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial data.• Execute balance sheet reconciliations and identify any discrepancies for resolution.• Manage bank reconciliations to verify transactions and maintain proper documentation.• Oversee general ledger activities, ensuring accounts are accurately maintained.• Prepare and post journal entries to support financial reporting processes.• Assist with month-end close procedures to finalize accounting records.• Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with accounting principles and internal guidelines.• Analyze financial data to support decision-making and improve reporting accuracy.• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.

• Proven expertise in account reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation. • Strong knowledge of bank reconciliation processes and general ledger management. • Proficiency in preparing journal entries and supporting month-end close activities. • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. • Familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP. • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations. • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. • Effective communication and collaboration skills in a team environment.
