Front Desk Coordinator
We are looking for a Front Desk Coordinator to join our team on a contract basis in Washington, District of Columbia. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, ensuring a welcoming and detail-oriented environment. The position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage daily administrative tasks effectively.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Welcome guests and visitors with a friendly and detail-oriented demeanor.<br>• Handle incoming and outgoing packages, ensuring proper documentation and distribution.<br>• Manage a multi-line phone system, directing calls to the appropriate departments or individuals.<br>• Provide concierge-style services to assist guests with inquiries and requests.<br>• Maintain an organized and clean reception area to uphold a detail-oriented appearance.<br>• Support administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings and coordinating appointments.<br>• Address inbound calls promptly and accurately, ensuring excellent communication.<br>• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.<br>• Monitor and respond to emails or messages related to front desk responsibilities.<br>• Assist with other duties as required to maintain office efficiency.
• Proven experience in receptionist or front desk roles.<br>• Proficiency in handling multi-line phone systems and switchboards.<br>• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.<br>• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.<br>• Familiarity with basic administrative procedures and office equipment.<br>• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.<br>• Detail-oriented approach and attitude suitable for a front-facing role.<br>• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
