We are looking for a dedicated Collections Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Tustin, California. In this role, you will play a key part in managing accounts receivable and ensuring timely payments from clients. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in collections and a proven ability to resolve billing issues efficiently. Responsibilities: • Conduct daily calls to clients to follow up on outstanding payments. • Negotiate and establish payment arrangements with customers to address overdue accounts. • Accurately post payments to the appropriate accounts and maintain up-to-date records. • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies to ensure account accuracy. • Collaborate with internal teams to address and rectify account-related issues. • Maintain detailed documentation of collection activities and communications. • Monitor aging reports to prioritize collection efforts effectively. • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations during collection processes. • Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a meticulous approach to sensitive financial matters.

• At least 2 years of experience in collections or a related role. • Strong knowledge of billing functions and cash handling processes. • Proven expertise in B2B and commercial collections. • Ability to resolve billing discrepancies and negotiate payment solutions. • Familiarity with credit and collections practices, including third-party collections. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions. • Proficiency in maintaining detailed and accurate financial records. • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
