We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee critical financial activities, with a particular focus on job costing and project accounting. This role involves managing daily accounting operations, analyzing project costs, and ensuring financial data accuracy to guide strategic decisions. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting expertise, analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments to drive financial efficiency. Responsibilities: • Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and accurate application of received funds. • Perform daily bank reconciliations to maintain accurate transaction records. • Manage month-end and year-end closing activities, including preparing reconciliations and detailed schedules for job cost and balance sheet accounts. • Update rolling forecasts, calculate commission schedules, and prepare financial statements focusing on project profitability. • Compute, reconcile, and provide sales tax reports while adhering to compliance standards. • Maintain and enhance the job cost accounting system by accurately recording and allocating project-related expenses. • Analyze project costs and variances, delivering detailed reports to support management decisions. • Collaborate with project managers to align job costs with budgets and timelines, providing actionable insights for financial planning. • Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard financial data and continuously improve accounting processes. • Prepare weekly financial reports for management, offering clear insights into ongoing performance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • At least 5-7 years of accounting experience, with a focus on job costing or project accounting. • Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, financial analysis, and job costing methodologies. • Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage Intacct or NetSuite, along with advanced Microsoft Excel skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across teams. • High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities. • Familiarity with financial reporting standards and tax regulations. • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data, ensuring accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
