Office Assistant
We are looking for a detail-oriented Office Assistant to support event operations during a high-profile healthcare conference in San Francisco, California. This is a contract position requiring a strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills to ensure the smooth execution of daily tasks. The role will involve assisting with logistics, meeting room coordination, and general event support.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Welcome and assist employees, guests, and contract staff in the lobby area to ensure a welcoming and friendly environment.<br>• Coordinate food and beverage logistics by transporting items from the kitchen to designated meeting spaces.<br>• Serve as an event runner, managing logistics between conference rooms and addressing immediate needs.<br>• Prepare and organize meeting rooms, including furniture setup, signage placement, and room refreshment as necessary.<br>• Provide hands-on assistance with event preparations and logistics to ensure seamless operations.<br>• Maintain physical readiness to stand, walk, and navigate stairs or floors for extended periods.<br>• Ensure compliance with security protocols and assist in maintaining a secure environment during the event.<br>• Collaborate with team members to address any last-minute changes or challenges efficiently.
• Previous experience in event or conference support is preferred but not mandatory.<br>• Strong communication skills and a detail-oriented approach to interact effectively with diverse groups.<br>• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.<br>• Comfortable standing, walking, and navigating stairs for extended periods during the event.<br>• Willingness to adhere to confidentiality agreements and security protocols.<br>• Excellent organizational skills to coordinate logistics and manage room setups.<br>• Proficiency in basic computer programs and systems to assist with event operations.
