Receptionist
We are looking for a skilled Receptionist to join our team on a contract basis in San Diego, California. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring smooth communication and attentive interactions. This position is ideal for someone with strong customer service skills and the ability to manage conversations effectively.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Greet and assist visitors in an attentive and friendly manner.<br>• Manage a multi-line phone system, including answering, transferring, and directing calls appropriately.<br>• Handle inbound calls efficiently, providing accurate information or directing inquiries to the appropriate department.<br>• Maintain organizational standards by keeping the reception area tidy and welcoming.<br>• Collaborate with team members to address customer needs and provide seamless service.<br>• Utilize G Suite software for scheduling, communication, and basic administrative tasks.<br>• Support various office functions, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.<br>• Purchase and manage parking packages for employees and visitors as needed.<br>• Uphold business casual attire standards while maintaining a courteous demeanor.<br>• Provide backup support for other administrative duties as required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.<br>• Minimum of six months of experience in an office or receptionist role.<br>• Proficiency in using G Suite software for office tasks.<br>• Ability to handle multi-line phone systems and switchboards effectively.<br>• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for navigating conversations with clients and colleagues.<br>• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.<br>• Customer service experience, demonstrating an attentive and approachable manner.<br>• Adaptability to a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
