<p>We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in the northern twin cities area (Minnesota) This is a contract position where you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of financial records and supporting the finance team with reconciliations, reporting, and related tasks. The position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment while contributing to the refinement of accounting processes.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Perform daily and monthly account reconciliations, with a particular focus on cash transactions.</p><p>• Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.</p><p>• Assist with audit-related documentation and activities to ensure compliance.</p><p>• Match and verify bank transactions against internal records, promptly resolving discrepancies.</p><p>• Contribute to the improvement of reporting processes and the consolidation of financial data.</p><p>• Support efforts to automate reconciliation and cash handling workflows.</p><p>• Ensure consistency and accuracy across all accounting operations.</p><p>• Collaborate with team members to refine existing procedures and implement best practices.</p>

• At least 3 years of accounting experience in a detail-oriented environment.<br>• Proficiency in accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), general ledger, and bank reconciliations.<br>• Hands-on experience with journal entries and financial reporting.<br>• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail.<br>• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing priorities.<br>• Familiarity with Business Central and Excel is an advantage.<br>• Proven ability to quickly learn and work within established processes.<br>• Excellent organizational and communication skills to support team collaboration.
