We are looking for a skilled Part-Time Accountant to join a small nonprofit organization. This long-term contract position offers an opportunity to contribute to the financial operations of a mission-driven organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Sage Intacct and a strong background in accounting practices. Responsibilities:• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.• Maintain and track fixed assets, including preparing related journal entries.• Monitor prepaid expenses and record associated journal entries.• Handle lease tracking and post relevant journal entries.• Reconcile accounts receivable and revenue between organizational systems and the General Ledger.• Calculate 403B contributions and prepare corresponding journal entries.• Manage restricted net assets and restricted cash tie-outs, including journal entries.• Prepare workpapers and journal entries for organizational events, such as the Global Gathering.• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy.• Create and present financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.

• Proficiency in Sage Intacct and extensive experience with journal entries. • Strong knowledge of general ledger and financial statement preparation. • Ability to perform bank and credit card reconciliations with precision. • Experience managing fixed assets and tracking prepaid expenses. • Familiarity with accounts receivable processes and revenue reconciliation. • Capability to calculate and record 403B contributions accurately. • Expertise in restricted asset management and related cash tie-outs. • Excellent organizational skills to manage workpapers and event-related accounting tasks.
