In this long-term contract role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the organization's financial health by preparing accurate financial statements, managing accounts, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. This position is ideal for an individual with strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a solid foundation in accounting principles. Responsibilities:• Maintain and update the general ledger and ensure accurate record-keeping of financial transactions.• Prepare detailed financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.• Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements to identify and resolve discrepancies.• Process invoices, manage payments, and track incoming funds to maintain cash flow efficiency.• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws and financial regulations.• Assist in internal and external audits by organizing and providing necessary financial documentation.• Support budget forecasting by analyzing actual costs versus budgeted amounts and preparing reports.• Utilize accounting software, such as NetSuite, to streamline financial processes.• Conduct analysis of financial trends and business operations to provide actionable insights.• Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial accuracy and adherence to organizational goals. *Please note that all candidates are required to provide 2 recent supervisor or manager references in order to be considered for employment.
