Administrative Assistant
We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. This role involves supporting various administrative tasks, with a primary focus on tax-related activities and business consulting. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, proficiency in technology, and an attentive demeanor to the position.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Prepare and send engagement letters to clients ahead of tax season deadlines.<br>• Manage and prioritize a workload consisting of 60% tax-related tasks and 40% business trust, consulting, and insurance responsibilities.<br>• Provide exceptional customer service by handling inbound and outbound calls efficiently.<br>• Perform accurate and timely data entry to support team operations and client needs.<br>• Coordinate and manage email correspondence to ensure clear and effective communication.<br>• Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, for various administrative tasks.<br>• Leverage technical skills in software such as Adobe and Pro FX to complete assigned projects.<br>• Maintain a neat, business-casual appearance while interacting with team members and clients.<br>• Collaborate on a key project during the initial phase of the role, ensuring all deadlines and deliverables are met.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative support role, preferably in an accounting or consulting environment.<br>• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.<br>• Familiarity with tools such as Adobe and Pro FX is highly desirable.<br>• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.<br>• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for handling client interactions and internal correspondence.<br>• Detail-oriented approach and ability to maintain a business-casual appearance.<br>• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data entry and document preparation.<br>• Demonstrated ability to work independently and contribute to team projects.
