Financial Administrative Assistant
<p><strong>Office Administrator/Finance Assistant </strong></p><p>We are seeking a friendly, intelligent, and highly organized professional for our client. Monitor accounts as needed.</li><li><strong>Bookkeeping & Data Entry:</strong> Maintain accurate records of financial transactions in QuickBooks, Excel, and proprietary systems.</li><li><strong>Reconciliation:</strong> Assist with regular bank and account reconciliations.</li><li><strong>Reporting:</strong> Compile and prepare reports, spreadsheets, and supporting documentation for audits, financial statements, and budget tracking.</li><li><strong>Document Management:</strong> Organize and securely file physical and digital financial documents, including receipts, contracts, and reports.</li></ul><p><strong>Administrative & Clerical Support</strong></p><ul><li>Answer and screen incoming phone calls; respond to emails and route inquiries as appropriate.</li><li>Perform general clerical duties such as copying, scanning, faxing, and mail distribution.</li><li>Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and support executive staff as needed.</li><li>Deliver professional customer service and address internal/external inquiries regarding financial policies and procedures.</li></ul><p><br></p>
<p><strong>Education and Experience Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or GED equivalent required.</li><li>Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.</li><li>Previous experience (1–3 years) in an administrative, clerical, or finance-related role is commonly required.</li></ul><p><strong>Required Skills and Competencies:</strong></p><p><strong>Financial/Technical Acuity:</strong></p><ul><li>Basic understanding of general accounting and bookkeeping principles (such as Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable).</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel for spreadsheets, data analysis, and reporting.</li><li>Familiarity with financial and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).</li></ul><p><strong>Core Competencies:</strong></p><ul><li>Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.</li><li>Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to prioritize tasks, meet strict deadlines, and manage a high volume of work.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.</li><li>Integrity and confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information.</li><li>Effective problem-solving skills to identify discrepancies and proactively resolve issues.</li><li>Self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.</li></ul><p><br></p>
