Policies & Procedures Specialist
<p>We are looking for an experienced Policies & Procedures Documentation Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Plano, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for developing detailed policies and procedures by collaborating with subject matter experts and aligning them with the organization’s standards. Your expertise in process documentation and familiarity with the property and casualty insurance industry will be essential to ensuring high-quality deliverables. This is a 2-month contract position. 100% Remote.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Policies & Procedures Documentation Specialist (contract position):</u></strong></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Conduct interviews with subject matter experts to gather detailed insights and information.</p><p>• Draft and refine policies and procedures in alignment with the company’s established formats and guidelines.</p><p>• Translate complex processes into clear, concise, and actionable documentation.</p><p>• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of all written materials.</p><p>• Apply knowledge of property and casualty insurance terms to enhance documentation relevance and precision.</p><p>• Review, edit, and finalize policies to meet organizational standards and compliance requirements.</p><p>• Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend enhancements to streamline operations.</p><p>• Ensure consistent application of best practices in policy writing and re-engineering processes.</p><p>• Manage deadlines effectively to deliver high-quality documentation within the 60-day assignment period.</p>
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in policy and procedure writing.<br>• Strong familiarity with property and casualty insurance industry terminology and practices.<br>• Demonstrated expertise in process improvement and documentation.<br>• Ability to create clear and precise process maps and documentation.<br>• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.<br>• Proven ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.<br>• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality deliverables.
