We are looking for an experienced Security Network Engineer to join our team in New York, New York. This is a long-term contract position that offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies while ensuring the security and performance of network systems. The ideal candidate will bring over a decade of experience in network security and engineering, along with a strong background in firewall management and protocol configurations.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Design and implement secure network solutions to protect organizational systems and data.<br>• Configure and manage Palo Alto Firewalls to optimize network security and performance.<br>• Monitor and troubleshoot Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) configurations to ensure seamless connectivity.<br>• Maintain and upgrade Cisco routers and ASA devices to meet evolving security standards.<br>• Analyze network traffic to identify vulnerabilities and develop strategies for mitigation.<br>• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security measures into existing network infrastructure.<br>• Develop and enforce security policies to safeguard sensitive information.<br>• Conduct regular assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.<br>• Provide technical support and training to team members regarding network security practices.<br>• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and threats to enhance system defenses.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in network security and engineering.<br>• Proficiency in managing and configuring Palo Alto Firewalls.<br>• Strong understanding of Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) and its applications.<br>• Hands-on experience with Cisco routers and Cisco ASA devices.<br>• Expertise in network traffic analysis and vulnerability assessment.<br>• Familiarity with security policy development and implementation.<br>• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.<br>• Commitment to staying informed about the latest developments in network security technology.
