Network Administrator
We are looking for a skilled Network Administrator to join our team in New York, New York. This long-term contract position is ideal for an experienced, detail-oriented candidate with a strong background in managing and maintaining network infrastructure, hardware, and software. The role requires a proactive individual who can ensure seamless connectivity and system performance while addressing technical challenges efficiently.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage and maintain the organization's network infrastructure, including hardware, software, and devices.<br>• Configure and troubleshoot Mac computers, Apple devices, and other computer hardware.<br>• Implement and oversee configuration management processes to ensure optimal system operation.<br>• Utilize MDM technologies and tools such as Jamf Pro to streamline device management.<br>• Administer user access and security protocols using Okta and other authentication systems.<br>• Collaborate with teams to set up and maintain audio-visual equipment for meetings and presentations.<br>• Provide technical support and resolve issues related to Rippling software and other enterprise applications.<br>• Monitor network performance and ensure timely upgrades to maintain system efficiency.<br>• Develop and document procedures for network administration and device management.<br>• Stay updated on emerging technologies to recommend improvements and solutions.
• At least 3 years of experience in network administration or a related field.<br>• Proficiency in managing Mac computers and Apple devices.<br>• Strong knowledge of computer hardware setup and troubleshooting.<br>• Experience with configuration management tools and practices.<br>• Familiarity with MDM systems such as Jamf Pro and Rippling software.<br>• Understanding of authentication platforms like Okta.<br>• Ability to manage audio-visual equipment effectively.<br>• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on network performance and security.
