Director, Data Analytics & Reporting
<p>This leadership role is responsible for overseeing a Data Analytics & Reporting team focused on collecting, aggregating, analyzing, and trending data—primarily from pharmacy systems—to support data-driven programs and service solutions. The Director will collaborate with IT and executive leadership to implement and streamline processes, mentor team members, and ensure alignment between data insights and strategic business goals.</p><p><br></p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Operational Leadership</u></strong></p><ul><li>Manage day-to-day operations of the data analytics and reporting team.</li><li>Lead and mentor data analysts, ensuring timely and accurate client deliverables.</li><li>Conduct performance reviews, provide guidance on best practices, and maintain appropriate staffing levels.</li><li>Provide hands-on support with SQL query development and optimization for automated reporting.</li></ul><p><strong><u>Process Ownership</u></strong></p><ul><li>Review, document, and improve data delivery processes including ingestion, automation, visualization, trending, and forecasting.</li><li>Identify and resolve data gaps; develop standardized and program-specific visualizations to assess data quality and highlight actionable trends.</li></ul><p><strong><u>Cross-functional Collaboration</u></strong></p><ul><li>Partner with internal and external stakeholders to define, prioritize, and execute strategic initiatives using both proprietary and commercial tools.</li><li>Ensure consistent communication and responsiveness to client and business needs.</li><li>Provide weekly program summaries including status updates, risk mitigation strategies, and innovation roadmap progress.</li></ul><p><strong><u>Client Engagement & Subject Matter Expertise</u></strong></p><ul><li>Represent the team in meetings with current and prospective clients.</li><li>Participate in RFPs and contract reviews as a data subject matter expert.</li></ul><p><strong><u>Data Protection & Compliance</u></strong></p><ul><li>Ensure adherence to data privacy policies and procedures.</li><li>Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA/HITECH regulations.</li><li>Establish checks and balances to safeguard data integrity.</li></ul><p><strong><u>Other Duties</u></strong></p><ul><li>Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in software development, statistics, information science, or business; MBA preferred.</li><li>Minimum 3 years of experience in pharmacy data aggregation, operations, or analytics.</li><li>Minimum 3 years of experience managing direct reports.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and SQL; PowerPoint is a plus.</li><li>Strong communication, organizational, time management, and leadership skills.</li><li>Experience presenting to executive-level stakeholders.</li><li>Ability to work onsite five days per week.</li><li>Comfortable managing multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Hands-on leadership style with a high level of technical proficiency.</li></ul><p><br></p>
