We are looking for an Accounting Analyst to join our team in New York, New York. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a newly established team dedicated to streamlining and organizing financial and accounting data across the company. The position involves working on impactful projects that span the entire organization, providing valuable insights and driving efficiency.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Analyze and organize financial and accounting data to enhance reporting and tracking across the company.<br>• Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate and streamlined financial processes.<br>• Utilize Excel to perform advanced data analysis and create meaningful reports.<br>• Support projects that improve firm-wide efficiency and financial operations.<br>• Develop and maintain dashboards using Power BI to visualize key financial metrics.<br>• Conduct ad hoc financial analyses to support business decision-making.<br>• Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend actionable solutions.<br>• Work closely with leadership to provide insights and recommendations based on financial data.<br>• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.<br>• Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for stakeholders.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial analysis or accounting roles.<br>• Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis capabilities.<br>• Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools is preferred.<br>• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets.<br>• Familiarity with big data concepts and their application in financial analysis.<br>• Ability to work effectively on-site four days a week.<br>• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.<br>• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and problem-solving.
