This is a fully remote position, but will require on-site training for 2 months 4-5 days a week in the South Bay. </p><p><br></p><p>Ping <strong>Jennifer Fukumae </strong>on LinkedIn<strong> </strong>if you would like to hear more about this role! </p><p><br></p><p><strong>Job Duties:</strong></p><ul><li>Lead the company’s financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with organizational objectives</li><li>Oversee monthly and quarterly close processes, delivering timely and reliable financial results</li><li>Coordinate and manage the work of the outsourced accounting team to maintain smooth day-to-day operations</li><li>Create forecasts, reports, and financial insights for both executive leadership and external partners</li><li>Establish and monitor key performance metrics to guide business strategy and growth</li><li>Build and refine financial models to support planning, analysis, and decision-making</li><li>Collaborate closely with the Managing Partner on critical initiatives and long-term financial strategy</li><li>Identify and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and strengthen financial practices</li></ul><p><br></p>

<ul><li>8+ years of fund accounting experience, ideally with a blend of public and private company exposure</li><li>Background in Big 4 preferred, though strong experience from other reputable CPA firms will be considered</li><li>CPA designation strongly preferred; CFA or MBA a plus</li></ul><p><strong>Who You Are:</strong></p><ul><li>Strategic, big-picture thinker with strong problem-solving skills and resourcefulness</li><li>Proactive in identifying solutions and driving outcomes rather than relying solely on others for guidance</li><li>Ambitious with a clear desire to grow into a Head of Finance role and play a key part in scaling the business</li><li>Strong business acumen with an entrepreneurial mindset</li></ul><p><br></p>
