About the RoleThis isn’t a back-office role — it’s a chance to sit at the table with partners and founders while building the financial backbone of a top-tier VC. The Controller will take ownership of fund and management company accounting, streamline processes, and partner directly with leadership on fundraising, valuations, and strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Oversee fund and management company accounting across entities.</li><li>Lead audits and tax filings, working with top-tier external providers.</li><li>Manage LP reporting, including capital calls, distributions, and investor dashboards.</li><li>Monitor cash flow and support capital planning.</li><li>Build and refine financial controls, processes, and systems to scale with the firm.</li><li>Assist with fund modeling, valuations, and fundraising prep.</li><li>Partner closely with the Founder and senior leadership on strategic finance projects.</li></ul>
