With over $1 billion in assets under management and a diverse portfolio spanning multiple states, the organization is committed to delivering both financial performance and social impact.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Position Overview:</strong></p><p><strong>The Assistant Controller </strong>will play a critical role in supporting the Corporate Controller and Chief Financial Officer, contributing to the firm’s financial reporting, compliance, and operational efficiency. <p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum of 5 years of professional accounting experience, including public accounting; real estate and fund accounting experience preferred.</li><li>CPA designation and strong understanding of GAAP.</li><li>Advanced Excel modeling skills.</li><li>Familiarity with real estate financial statements and investment structures.</li><li>Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret legal and financial documents.</li><li>Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.</li><li>High emotional intelligence and integrity.</li><li>Passion for real estate and community-focused investment.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with process optimization and automation.</li><li>Familiarity with financial systems such as Dynamo, Yardi, or Kyriba.</li><li>Knowledge of industry best practices in fund and property accounting.</li></ul><p><strong>Excited about this role?
