You’ll play a central role in managing fund operations, collaborating with senior leadership, and driving financial excellence across the organization.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p>As Assistant Fund Controller, you’ll take ownership of key finance and accounting functions, working closely with the Principal of Finance, CFO, fund administrators, and portfolio company teams. <p><strong>Ideal Candidate Profile</strong></p><ul><li>4–7+ years of accounting experience, ideally with a mix of Big 4 audit and in-house fund accounting.</li><li>Experience with PE or VC investment funds, including working with fund administrators and multiple vendors.</li><li>Exposure to complex fund structures and transactions (e.g., dividend recaps).</li><li>CPA preferred; strong GAAP knowledge required.</li><li>Confident communicator with a proactive mindset and collaborative spirit.</li><li>Comfortable improving processes and reporting systems.</li><li>Strong Excel skills and proficiency with financial software.</li></ul><p><strong>Team Environment</strong></p><p>You’ll be part of a lean, high-performing finance team that includes:</p><ul><li>CFO and Principal, Finance</li><li>Two Assistant Controllers</li><li>Corporate finance staff (Controller, Staff Accountant, Benefits/Payroll Manager)</li><li>External fund administrator</li></ul><p><strong>Excited about this role?
