In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in managing payroll processes for a workforce of 800-1000 employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in union payroll and full-cycle payroll processing. Responsibilities: • Process payroll for a large workforce, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution of payments. • Manage union payroll functions, including adherence to union agreements and policies. • Handle payroll tax filings and resolve any discrepancies or issues. • Oversee the full payroll cycle, from data collection to final reporting. • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations. • Address employee inquiries related to payroll and resolve concerns with a high level of attention to detail. • Perform regular audits of payroll processes to ensure accuracy and compliance. • Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary payroll data and support organizational goals. • Utilize payroll software efficiently, ensuring data integrity and proper system use.
