We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Jeffersonville, Indiana. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in managing and processing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in accounts payable operations. Responsibilities: • Process invoices and ensure proper coding to accounts. • Manage accounts payable transactions, including Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments. • Conduct regular check runs and reconcile discrepancies. • Verify and match invoices to purchase orders and receipts. • Maintain accurate records of payments and vendor accounts. • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures. • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any invoice-related issues. • Prepare reports related to accounts payable activities. • Assist with month-end closing processes. • Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounts payable function.

• Proven experience in accounts payable operations. • Proficiency in account coding and invoice processing. • Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments. • Ability to efficiently manage check runs and payment schedules. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions. • Knowledge of financial policies and compliance standards. • Excellent organizational and communication skills. • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
