We are looking for a skilled Collections Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Loma Linda, California. In this role, you will focus primarily on managing business-to-business collections, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining positive client relationships. This position requires a proactive approach to resolving billing discrepancies and minimizing financial risks to the organization. Responsibilities: • Oversee assigned customer accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding balances. • Address and resolve discrepancies related to payments, billing disputes, and overdue accounts. • Coordinate with internal teams, including sales and customer service, to resolve account issues efficiently. • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all collection activities, communications, and payment agreements. • Generate and present aging reports and collection updates to management regularly. • Identify accounts requiring escalation, legal action, or write-offs, and recommend appropriate measures. • Ensure all collection practices align with company policies and applicable regulations. • Assist with month-end and year-end processes related to accounts receivable. • Utilize collection tools and software to improve efficiency and tracking of outstanding payments.

• Experience dealing with Net 90/120 payment terms, and ability to manage 200+ accounts at a time. • Minimum of 2 years of experience in business-to-business collections or accounts receivable.• Strong knowledge of commercial credit practices and collection procedures.• Proficiency in Office Suite and accounting systems such as Great Plains.• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities.• Experience handling large corporate or enterprise-level accounts is a plus.
