We are looking for a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This position involves managing payroll processes for a multi-state workforce, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. Responsibilities:• Process payroll for a large, multi-state employee base, ensuring timely and accurate payments.• Handle employee terminations and related payroll adjustments in accordance with company policies.• Generate comprehensive payroll reports to support financial analysis and audits.• Collaborate on finance-related projects, such as accounts payable tasks, to ensure smooth operations.• Utilize payroll software, such as ADP Workforce Now or BambooHR, to manage payroll functions efficiently.• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.• Troubleshoot and resolve payroll discrepancies or issues promptly.• Provide support during organizational transitions, ensuring payroll continuity and accuracy.• Uphold confidentiality and security of employee payroll data.

• Proven experience with full-cycle payroll management, including multi-state payroll. • Familiarity with payroll systems such as ADP Workforce Now or BambooHR. • Ability to process payroll for large employee groups, ideally over 500 individuals. • Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements. • Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle part-time responsibilities effectively. • Proficiency in generating and interpreting payroll reports. • Experience handling payroll adjustments, including terminations. • High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all payroll-related tasks.
