Payroll Specialist
We are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Kenmore, Washington. In this role, you will oversee payroll operations and benefits administration while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and policies. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with expertise in payroll systems and a strong commitment to service excellence.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and efficiently using ADP Workforce Now.<br>• Verify employee hours, pay rates, deductions, and paid time off balances to ensure payroll accuracy.<br>• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws as well as company-specific policies.<br>• Handle payroll updates such as new hires, terminations, and pay adjustments.<br>• Generate and review payroll reports for accuracy and perform necessary reconciliations.<br>• Maintain secure and organized payroll documentation to uphold confidentiality.<br>• Administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and 401(k).<br>• Manage benefit enrollments, terminations, and changes while coordinating with carriers and brokers.<br>• Reconcile monthly benefits invoices and assist with timely payment processing.<br>• Support open enrollment activities and communicate benefit updates to employees.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll and benefits administration.<br>• Proficiency with full-cycle and multi-state payroll processes.<br>• Advanced knowledge of ADP Workforce Now and its functionalities.<br>• Strong understanding of federal, state, and local payroll regulations.<br>• Proven ability to manage employee benefits programs effectively.<br>• High level of skill in Excel and other Office Suite applications.<br>• Excellent organizational and communication skills.<br>• Experience in aviation or safety-sensitive industries is preferred.
